The Sony FE mount is the lens mount used by Sony's full frame mirrorless cameras such as the A7 series and the A9. The 'FE' in the name distinguishes it from the smaller APS-C format Sony models, which use the Sony E mount. You can swap lenses between these two camera sizes, but the FE lenses will have a crop factor on APS-C bodies (an effective focal length change), while the image itself will be cropped if you fit an APS-C format E mount lens to a full frame camera.
