I have a lot of phone clamps, and the 3 Legged Thing Phil is easily the best. Given the quality of the design and engineering, I think the price is pretty good – it’s also pretty insignificant compared to the cost of phones and other video accessories, and I would definitely rather pay extra for a strong and effective phone clamp like this than take a chance on a cheaper one.

3 Legged Thing Pano Clamp review
Verdict: 4.5 stars The 3 Legged Thing Pano Clamp could transform the usefulness of your tripod head if you shoot video, panoramas or panning shots. It fixes one of the principal problems with ball heads by adding a panning axis above the ball, where you actually need it, rather than below the ball where makers always put it.
3 Legged Thing Ultra plates review
Verdict: 4.5 stars These new 3 Legged Thing Ultra plates are brimming with fresh ideas and could be perfect for content creators shooting with multiple accessories or stills photographers looking for better balance with bigger lenses or extra flexibility for close-up work. I’m still getting my head around the possibilities. They provide a much more secure mounting point for lights, mics and external recorders than the camera’s hotshoe, and make a very interesting alternative to a camera cage for video.
3 Legged Thing Vanz review
Verdict: 4.5 stars The 3 Legged Thing Vanz ‘footwear’ can be used on the maker’s Legends and Pro tripods to extend the legs and provide extra protection on poor surfaces or in place of legs to make a tabletop tripod! They might look like a novelty but are actually rather useful.
3 Legged Thing Levelling Base review
Verdict: 3.5 stars The 3 Legged Thing Levelling Base sounds like it could solve a lot of problems. It’s a way of giving yourself a level base for panning shots or panoramas using a similar system to video tripods with bowl bases. But the adjustment range is limited, the pan axis in the base seems unnecessary (and isn’t levelled) and while the 3 Legged Thing Levelling Base is beautifully made, it’s also pretty expensive.
3 Legged Thing Iggy review

It’s light, super-simple to use and the legs fold into the shape of a handle so you can use it as a short selfie […]
